<p>The present invention relates to device for preventing a paper web (5), transported on a moving wire (2), from lifting away from the wire (2), wherein an edge section (19) of the paper web has been cut off from the paper web by a trim squirt (9). The device comprises an air-foil (10) which comprises an air-foil surface (11) that faces against the wire (2) and is arranged such that the air- foil surface redirects an airstream from the moving wire (2) to create a suppression which prevent the paper web from lifting.</p> |
