PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber whose tensile strength does not deteriorate even when stored in a state being wound onto a bobbin, and a manufacturing method of the optical fiber.SOLUTION: An optical fiber 10 which has a coating layer 14 such that it contacts with a circumference of a glass fiber 13 and a manufacturing method of the optical fiber 10 are provided. The coating layer 14 and a resin composition for forming the coating layer 14 contain silane coupling agents, one of which has a group reacting with an acrylic group by ultraviolet irradiation or an acrylic group, and the other of which has an alkyl group having 2 or more carbon atoms. |
