DIFFERENTIAL ENVELOPE DETECTION CIRCUIT AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an amplitude-modulated input signal without using a local oscillator or an injection circuit.SOLUTION: A high level envelope detection circuit 11H detects an envelope on a high level side among input signals IN that are amplitude modulated. A low level envelope detection circuit 11L detects an envelope on a low level side. A differential amplifier 12 performs differential amplification on detection signals HDET, LDET obtained by detection thereof and a positive phase output signal OUT and a reverse phase output signal OUTX are obtained as differential signals.
