<p>A plug for insertion into a bullet wound has a compressible element having an aperture extending therethrough; a shaft passing through the aperture provided in the compressible element; and first and second retaining members positioned on said shaft, such that the compressible element is retained therebetween. The distance between the retaining members is adjustable, so as to alter the extent of compression of the compressible element, and hence control the extent of projection of the compressible element in a lateral direction of the shaft.</p> |
