METHOD FOR PREPARING PT CATALYST, THE PT CATALYST FOR OXYGEN REDUCTION REACTION PREPARED THEREFROM, AND PEMFC INCLUDING THE PT CATALYST

The present invention relates to a method for preparing a platinum catalyst, a platinum catalyst for oxygen reduction reaction prepared using the same, and a proton exchange membrane fuel cell including a platinum catalyst. More specifically, the method includes the steps of: dispersing a carbon carrier in element aqueous solution to prepare a carbon carrier dispersing solution; injecting platinum salts into the carbon carrier dispersing solution to form a platinum hydration complex compound and carrying the platinum hydration complex compound by the carbon carrier; and irradiating gamma rays to the platinum hydration complex compound to reduce platinum cation in the platinum hydration complex compound and forming a platinum cluster. When compared to the method for synthesizing a platinum catalyst of conventional technology, the method according to the present invention is capable of synthesizing smaller and more uniform nanoparticles and achieving more excellent dispersion, thereby providing a platinum catalyst having more excellent activity and stability for the oxygen reduction reaction. In particular, the platinum catalyst can be prepared in bulk enough to be commercially used by simple and eco-friendly processes.
