This sealing device (20) for a container comprises a circular cap (21) designed to seal the neck of the container and a cover (22) made from a synthetic material capable of covering both the neck and the cap fitted on the neck, said cover being provided with means (261) for locking onto the neck. The cover (22) is in one piece and comprises a skirt (221) capable of radially surrounding a collar of the neck of the container, and an annular portion (231) provided with a central opening (232) allowing permanent access to the cap (21). The skirt (221) has at least two jamming areas (225) for jamming the cap and, on the inner radial face (226) thereof between said two jamming areas (225), a release area (227) with a diameter (D227) strictly greater than the minimum unstressed diameter (D21min) of the cap (21). |
