<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To meet the need that in order for a motor to be driven efficiently from low speed to high speed, pulse width modulation (PWM) conduction and rectangular wave conduction must be switched, and a current sensor for detecting an AC current flowing in the motor must be disposed.SOLUTION: A motor drive controller comprises: a voltage command generation unit 4 for generating a voltage command amplitude and a voltage command phase on the basis of a current command value; a rectangular wave conduction time phase generation unit 5 for generating a voltage command phase during rectangular wave conduction; and a control switching determination unit 6 for determining, according to the state parameter of a motor 1, which control mode, a PWM conduction or a rectangular wave conduction, should be performed, and switching the control mode from one to another, the motor drive controller driving a switching element unit 9 by output from a PWM conduction unit 7 when switched to the PWM conduction, and driving the switching element unit 9 by output from a rectangular wave conduction unit 8 when switched to the rectangular wave conduction. The voltage command generation unit 4 uses a parameter of the motor 1 to calculate the voltage command amplitude and the voltage command phase.</p> |
