<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning closing device for a sliding door which minimizes the size of a casing to make it possible to reduce the size of a guide rail hanging the sliding door.SOLUTION: A cushioning closing device for a sliding door comprises: a hook member 5-3 rotatably attached to a slide member for sliding in an appropriate region in a casing 5-1; the slide member energized to the door closing side and door opening side through a coil spring 5-4; a door roller 2 which travels along a guide rail so as to move in the door closing direction in the slide region of the slide member from a state of being locked by the hook member 5-3; and a round-trip type damper 5-2 for reducing moving speed caused by elastic force of the coil spring 5-4. The casing 5-1 is made from high intensity metal such as stainless steel and has board thickness of 0.5 to 1 mm. The number of the coil springs 5-4 is at least two; and the coil springs 5-4 are arranged in a gap part between a cylindrical cylinder composing the round-trip type damper 5-2 and the square cylindrical casing 5-1.</p> |
