In one embodiment, the invention can be an oral care implement comprising: a handle; a head attached to the handle and having a first side and a second side; a plurality of tooth cleaning elements attached to the first side of the head; and a soft tissue cleaner disposed on the second side of the head, the soft tissue cleaner including a first portion comprising a plurality of projections and a second portion comprising a plurality of bristles.

1. An oral care implement comprising:
a handle; a head attached to the handle and having a first side and a second side opposite the first side; a plurality of tooth cleaning elements extending from the head in a direction away from the first side; and a soft tissue cleaner disposed on the second side of the head, the soft tissue cleaner including: (1) a first portion comprising a plurality of projections formed of an elastomeric material and extending in a direction away from the second side of the head; and (2) a second portion comprising a plurality of bristles extending in the direction away from the second side of the head.
