<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to possess a plurality of electronic cards such as credit cards or cash cards of which only one card is normally issued to one person, and to limit the electronic card that can be used among all the electronic cards. <P>SOLUTION: In an electronic card management system managing a plurality of electronic cards possessed by a user, the plurality of electronic cards and a card status management server are interconnected. Each of the plurality of electronic cards comprises a wireless communication unit for transmitting card status information concerning an own physical location via wireless communication. The card status management server comprises: a card information acquisition unit for acquiring the card status information of each of the plurality of electronic cards; and a card validation determination unit for determining whether to validate the electronic card that transmitted the card status information, based on the acquired card status information and the card status information of other electronic cards possessed by the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
