<p>The present invention relates to an e-book control device capable of turning a page according to the reading habit of each user during the use of an e-book and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the e-book control device includes the following: a content storage unit in which book content including a test page and text data is stored; an operation unit for outputting the book content on a screen and inputting a command to start or finish reading; a display unit which displays the book content on the screen; an eye position identification unit which identifies the position of the eyes of a user who is looking at the book content displayed on the screen; a reading speed calculation unit which calculates the reading speed of the user using the variation of the position of the eyes of the user; a page turning unit which turns the page to the next page automatically when the user finishes reading the current page of the book content; a reading speed compensation unit which recalculates the remaining time according to the position of the eyes of the user after the reading starts and compensates the reading speed of the user; and a control unit which controls the display of the book content on the screen according to the command to start or finish the reading from the operation unit, identifying the movement of the position of the eyes of the user according to the reading speed of the user, and controlling the turn of one page to the next.</p> |
