<p>The method comprises the steps of: sending a call request 210 from the first Telecommunication device 200 to a server 300; in response to receiving the call request 210 at the server 300, initiating a first call leg 220 from the server 300 to the first device 200; in response to the first call leg 220 being answered 80 at the first device 200, sending a confirmation signal 230 from the first device 200 to the server 300. Aspects of the invention include in response to receiving the confirmation signal 230 at the server 300, initiating a second call leg 240 from the server 300 to the second telecommunicaiton device 400; and connecting the first call leg 220 and the second call leg 240, such that a telephone call is connected between the first and second telecommunication devices 200, 400. As all call legs are initiated by the server, the employees telephone number will never be displayed to a call recipient allowing anonymity of a caller. There is no need to withhold a telephone number of the server from a call recipient. In addition, as all call legs are initiated by the server, the employee will not be billed for any calls; rather, all calls will be billed to the server. The first device may be a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) used by an employee.</p> |
