<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for estimating the exact duration time of metal water supply pipes only from the corrosion speed of the metal inspection member by using a simple method and with low costs and reduced labor. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for determining the updating order of metal water supply pipes embedded in soil, the relation between the corrosion speed of a metal inspection member and the duration period of the metal water supply pipes embedded in the soil is obtained, the corrosion speed of the metal inspection member is measured from the weigh reduced amount of the metal inspection member, the duration period of the metal water supply pipes in the soil is estimated based on the relation between the corrosion speed of the metal inspection member obtained and the duration period of the metal water supply pipes in the soil, thereby determining the updating order. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
