An information display device, comprising: an image display section adapted to display binocular parallax images; a display image control section adapted to control the binocular parallax images displayed on the image display section; and a position information acquisition section adapted to acquire position information representing a three-dimensional position of a target existing in three-dimensional space on a display surface of the image display section, in which the position information acquisition section further acquires information about a first distance (D1) between a first part of a user and the display surface of the image display section, in which the position information acquisition section further acquires information about a second distance (D2) between a second part of the user and the display surface of the image display section, in which the second part of the user is different from the first part of the user, and in which the display image control section causes the binocular parallax images to be displayed on the image display section according to the three-dimensional position of the target represented by the position information acquired by the position information acquisition section only when one half of D1 is greater than D2.
