The present invention relates to a propeller used in a propulsion system of a ship. The conventional cavitation reduction method has a problem of increasing the manufacturing costs and period for a propeller and a propulsion system because the structure of the propeller must change or an additional unit must be installed in order to reduce cavitation. To solve the above problem, provided in the present invention is a propeller for delaying tip vortex cavitation, which can delay the inception of cavitation around the tip of a propeller blade by attaching a flexible object such as a wire to the tip of the propeller blade in order to increase the cavitation inception speed of the propeller, and can be widely applied to not only private ships such as a passenger ship but also special fields such as a military vessel by operating silent. |
