PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect malware in a user terminal device that has been infected with malware via a browser running on the user terminal device.SOLUTION: Upon detecting a predetermined triggering event on a user terminal 3, a security application 5 installed in the terminal 3 automatically activates a transparent browser 14 to navigate to one or more predetermined URLs. Then the security application 5 checks a code of an inspected webpage 9 that has been received immediately after it is opened by the transparent browser 14 and rechecks the code after being at least partially processed by the transparent browser 14. If a change in the code is detected, an alert is issued indicating that the terminal 3 has been infected with malware. |
