<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute control on the basis of more accurate prediction of power consumption amount when the control is made according to a remaining power of a battery in a portable terminal.SOLUTION: In a portable telephone 100, a process content that should be executed is inputted about a specific application (standby application, talking application, and mail application). For a standby application, a time period during which operation is continued (remaining standby period) is inputted. The portable telephone 100 calculates a power amount required for the process content on the basis of radio wave condition at a place where the portable telephone 100 is scheduled to be positioned. The portable telephone 100 informs alert when a difference between a remaining power of the battery and a said power amount goes below 20% of the power amount of the battery in full charge, and stops execution of applications other than the specific application when the remaining power of the battery decreases to said power amount.</p> |
