PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce the size and weight of an electromagnetic flowmeter.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic flowmeter 10 comprises a body 12 housing therein a solenoid part 18 having a yoke 62 whose cross section is formed in a U shape and a pipe body unit 14 including a pipe 44 is disposed inside the yoke 62. The pipe 44 has one end part 44a and the other end part 44b which have perfectly circular cross sections, respectively. An intermediate part 44c between the one end part 44a and the other end part 44b has an oval cross section. The pipe 44 is arranged so that a cross-sectional linear part 53 formed on the intermediate part 44c may be vertical and that coils 70a and 70b and magnetization plates 68a and 68b of the solenoid part 18 may face the cross-sectional linear part 53. |
