PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce with a high fidelity an original musical sound waveform taken in at recording, in what is called a sampler. SOLUTION: A sampler is provided with an envelope waveform extraction means 3 to extract the envelope waveform of original sound waveform data, a waveform stabilizing means 5 to make the original sound wave form data stabilized from the envelope waveform data, and a musical sound producing means 7 to produce musical sound by performing a reversed operation to the one at the waveform stabilizing means 5 using the envelope waveform data and the stabilized waveform data. Then the waveform of the original sound can be reproduced almost with a fidelity even when a loop-read-out of the waveform data is performed by repeatedly reading out the stabilized waveform data as it is, at the time of reproducing, and bringing the waveform data into reproducing through a prescribed operation by using the read-out envelope waveform data while providing an appropriate processing, and making it possible to control the amplitude, which hardly changes, of the stabilized waveform data through an operation using the envelope waveform data. |
