PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive waste inspection device and a radioactive waste inspection method, having high inspection processing performance to waste.SOLUTION: A radioactive waste inspection device of an embodiment includes first to third inspection sections and a conveyor. The conveyor moves radioactive waste being an object to be inspected from the first inspection section to the second inspection section, and moves the radioactive waste from the second inspection section to the third inspection section. The first inspection section includes a first inspection device group which executes side-surface dose equivalent rate inspection of the radioactive waste and inspection other than measurement of a radioactivity amount. The second inspection section includes a second inspection device group which executes side-surface dose equivalent rate inspection of the radioactive waste and measurement of a radioactivity amount of the radioactive waste. The third inspection section includes a labeling device which adheres a label on the radioactive waste and prints on it.
