PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that when a liquid crystal element always receives a light beam from a laser, the liquid crystal is deteriorated or the like, in an optical recording/reproducing device using a hologram.SOLUTION: An optical information recording/reproducing device recording and/or reproducing information on and/or from a recording medium includes a laser light source for recording and/or reproducing, a light shielding part capable of switching between transmission and cutting off of laser light emitted from the laser light source, a driving circuit driving switching between the transmission and cutting-off of the light shielding part, a moving part relatively moving the light shielding part and the laser light, and a control circuit controlling the moving part. The moving part relatively moves the light shielding part and the laser light, so that the laser light is applied from the first area of the light shielding part to a second area different from the first area. |
