A method for encoding an image according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: identifying a block in which an object boundary exists based on depth information about an image; and performing intra encoding of the block in which the object boundary exists, wherein the step of performing the intra encoding includes the steps of: classifying objects based on the depth information and generating error information for an area corresponding to each object; and selectively transmitting the generated error information according to each object.
