PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize output of high quality by controlling a scanning position of a laser beam for exposure more accurately in an electrophotography-type image formation device.SOLUTION: A part on a scanning line on a photosensitive article is exposed by making a first light-emitting part emit light according to a specified pattern. The part on the scanning line on the photosensitive article is exposed by making a second light-emitting part emit light according to the specified pattern so that the scanning position is offset by a specified adjusting amount in the scanning line direction. Information on the intensity of the image obtained as a result is acquired from a measuring part. By repeating exposing and measuring with changing the adjusting amount, the adjusting amount at which the intensity of an image becomes a local maximum or a local minimum is detected. According to the detected adjusting amount, decided is the adjusting amount at which the scanning position from the first light-emitting part on the scanning line and the scanning position from the second light-emitting part become more close to each other.
