PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a fuel injection system including an injection nozzle having an injection hole for injecting a fuel, a flow channel for guiding the fuel, and a valve element capable of adjusting an opening area of the flow channel, and fuel pressure adjusting means capable of adjusting a fuel pressure as a pressure of the fuel injected to the injection nozzle, and properly atomizing the fuel injected from the injection nozzle even in executing partial lift injection.SOLUTION: A control device controls an opening area and a fuel pressure after starting partial lift injection so that an average injection hole fuel pressure at a time of injecting a fuel of a target fuel injection amount Qtgt satisfies a relationship that a second average injection hole fuel pressure Pihave2 generated in injecting the fuel of the target fuel injection amount under the fuel pressure after starting the partial lift injection, is larger than a first average injection hole fuel pressure Pihave1 which may be generated in injecting the fuel of the target fuel injection amount under the fuel pressure Pfuel1 before starting the partial lift injection, in starting the partial lift injection. |
