<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is difficult to accurately interpolate data when a weather target having a radar reflectivity factor generally varied according to an altitude from the earth surface and a temperature profile of the atmosphere is observed since data between sweep lines are interpolated by using a received power value at the same distance from a radar in a conventional data interpolation method.SOLUTION: The radar apparatus selects observational data using a position having the maximum correlation between a plurality of frequency bands as the reference of a range bin for performing interpolation processing without limiting to observational data at the same distance from a radar to perform interpolation processing, and selects observational data using a position having the maximum correlation as a reference to perform interpolation processing after different weights are applied between different frequencies when the radar transmits and receives radio waves having a plurality of frequency bands.</p> |
