摘要 <p>PURPOSE: An electrical parking brake system is provided to achieve operation stability and simple configuration by employing a load sensitive limit switch as a load sensor for measuring a tension load of a parking cable and arranging the limit switch serially on a power train line. CONSTITUTION: An electrical parking brake system includes an operation button, an ECU, an actuator assembly, and a brake assembly. The operation button(2) is installed in a certain position of a vehicle and generates an on/off signal. The ECU(1) receives and processes the on/off signal of the operation button and an axial load signal of a parking cable(21). The actuator assembly(3) has a motor(4), and using a load sensitive limit switch type load sensor which detects the displacement of the parking cable to a reference signal in which the initial tension is 0 and outputs the corresponding signal in order to provide the tension of the parking cable as an input parameter of the ECU. The brake assembly(20) maintains and releases the brake state of wheels through the parking cable pulled by operation of the actuator assembly.</p>
