摘要 A method for measuring the mechanical behavior of a material by using laser ultrasonic waves, can comprise: a step for radiating laser to an object; a step for receiving the ultrasonic signals of longitudinal waves and transverse waves generated in the object; and calculating the material property of the object on the basis of the information on time interval of the received longitudinal wave components and transverse wave components. A method and a device for measuring the mechanical behavior of a material by using laser ultrasonic waves according to the present invention can measure the mechanical behavior of an object by radiating laser spaced apart from the object by a predetermined distance, thereby conveniently and effectively carrying out the measurement process by a non-contact method. Meanwhile, the longitudinal wave components and the transverse wave components of the ultrasonic signals strongly and dominantly generated from the object can be selectively received and the material property of the object can be accurately measured by calculating propagation speed. Therefore, it is possible to increase the reliability of measurement results to be sufficient, even by the non-contact method.
