PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver-coated ultrafine particle as a low-temperature sinterable conductivity-forming material usable in a flexible printed substrate having low heat-resistance, and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: A silver-coated ultrafine particle has a particle size of 30 nm or less, is covered with molecular amine for protection, and is dispersible in an organic solvent, where the weight reduction rate at a temperature of 160°C in thermogravimetric measurement is 30% or more and where sintering at a temperature of 100°C or less for one hour or less gives a sintered film of silver. This silver-coated ultrafine particle is prepared by mixing a silver compound generating metallic silver by decomposition with heating, alkylamine and alkyldiamine to give a complex compound and by heat decomposition of the silver compound by heating. |
