PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kitchen apparatus on which wet articles can be placed and which has a surface easy to be washed down with water together with the back surface of a sink.SOLUTION: A kitchen apparatus includes: a counter 2 where a sink 4 is formed; and a cabinet 11 having an upper opening which upwardly opens and on which the counter 2 is disposed so as to cover the upper opening. The counter 2 is provided with a back guard 3 upwardly projecting at the back end part. The inside surface (front surface 46) of a posterior wall 41 of the sink 4 is formed so as to be almost flush with the front surface 31 of the back guard 3. An area equivalent to a part of the posterior wall 41 of the sink 4 ranging from its inside surface to its front side and a part in a lateral direction, is formed into a base surface 5 protruding to a level higher than a base bottom surface 47 as the other area of the bottom surface and lower than a top surface 20 of the counter 2. The back guard 3 and the base surface 5 are adjacent to each other. |
