<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive organic EL display device which suppresses deterioration in color purity of a red organic EL element and a green organic EL element due to the influence of a blue light-emitting layer and whose manufacturing process is easy, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: An organic EL display device 1 includes: a blue light-emitting layer host layer formed on that portion of a hole injection/transport layer in which a red light-emitting layer and a green light-emitting layer are not formed, on the red light-emitting layer, and on the green light-emitting layer; and a blue light-emitting layer which is formed on the entire surface of the blue light-emitting layer host layer and contains at least a host material of the blue light-emitting layer host layer and a hole-transporting blue dopant material.</p> |
