<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-separation mat which has a simple structure and is arranged between a carpet-laid floor surface and furniture so that the furniture can be restrained to the utmost from being separated from the floor surface when the furniture is vibrated by an earthquake or the like and to provide a vibration absorbing device obtained by using the anti-separation mat.SOLUTION: An anti-separation mat 1 having a plate-shaped member 2 is prepared, which has a smooth surface on one side thereof and to the other side of which projection elements 4 are joined integrally, each of the elements having a shape such as a T-shaped type shape, an arrowhead type shape, a hook type shape, and a mushroom type shape at the tip and being engageable with a loop to be formed by knitting a pile yarn on the surface of a carpet. The prepared anti-separation mat is disposed so that the smooth surface thereof is opposed to the side of a vibration absorbing body 8, which is arranged on the floor surface side of the furniture and comprises a viscoelastic body, the projection element 4-joined side is opposed to the floor surface side. When the flexural modulus of the plate-shaped member 2 is made to be equal to or higher than 100 MPa and that of a material constituting the projection element 4 is made to be 700 MPa, the vibration absorbing device is obtained, which hardly causes separation from the floor.</p> |
