A double-connection implementation method and a base station. The method comprises: a first base station which a user equipment accesses completing the related management of the connection to a second base station on the user equipment through a double-connection management interface between the base station and the second base station, thereby realizing double connections of the user equipment to the first base station and the second base station. The base station comprises: a management module which is set to: when the base station serves as the first base station which the user equipment accesses, complete the related management of the connection to the second base station on the user equipment through the double-connection management interface between the base station and the second base station; and an acceptance module which is set to: when the base station serve as the second base station, accept the related management of the connection to the base station on the user equipment by the first base station through the double-connection management interface between the base station and the first base station. After the embodiments of the present invention are adopted, a shunting distribution mode of data can be flexibly scheduled in accordance with a network environment or a resource state between a network side and a user equipment. |
