PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic matching body in which acoustic coupling material can be sufficiently spread between an outer surface and a flexible object.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic transducer element unit 17 includes an acoustic lens 21 as an acoustic matching body. The acoustic lens 21 has an element connection surface that can be connected to an ultrasonic emission surface of an ultrasonic transducer element, that is a base surface. An acoustic matching part 26 is placed on top of a surface of a protective layer 19 in the element connection surface. The acoustic matching part 26 has a curved surface 27 that swells in a convex shape with respect to the element connection surface. The curved surface 27 is formed by generatrices parallel to each other. A slit-shaped through-hole 28 is formed in the acoustic matching part 26. The slit-shaped through-hole 28 penetrates between the element connection surface and the curved surface 27. |
