<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder supply device that can vibrate a powder retention container to drop powder attached to a wall surface in the powder retention container, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A powder supply device 100 comprises: a powder retention container 110 that temporarily retains powder supplied from a powder storage container and discharges the temporarily retained powder toward a supply target; powder stirring means 150 for stirring at least the powder in the powder retention container; and driving means for driving the powder stirring means. The driving means includes a stepping motor 112 that is attached to the powder retention container and rotation drive control means 10 for controlling the rotation drive of the stepping motor, where the rotation drive control means can drive to rotate while resonating the stepping motor.</p> |
