<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio receiver capable of improving interference resistance by reliably detecting whether or not an interference wave of high noise level such as a strong input interference wave is inputted together and executing closed loop control of each reception gain on the basis of the detection result.SOLUTION: Provided is a radio receiver comprising: at least a radio reception frequency attenuator 7; a radio reception frequency mixer 9; a primary intermediate radio frequency attenuator 6; an intermediate radio frequency mixer 8; a secondary intermediate radio frequency attenuator 5; and an intermediate radio frequency detector 3, in which reception gain closed loop control is executed in order for setting the attenuation of each of the radio reception frequency attenuator 7, the primary intermediate radio frequency attenuator 6, and the secondary intermediate radio frequency attenuator 5 to an appropriate amount on the basis of the signal level of a secondary intermediate radio frequency signal detected by the intermediate radio frequency detector 3. This radio receiver is characterized in that a radio reception frequency detector 4 for detecting the signal level of a radio reception signal inputted to the radio reception frequency mixer 9 is connected just before the input side of the radio reception frequency mixer 9.</p> |
