In a crank-type vehicle power transmission apparatus, the outer member (38) of a one-way clutch (36) has a larger oscillation angular velocity (α') when the eccentricity (&egr;) of the input-side fulcrum (19) is high, and has a smaller oscillation angular velocity (α') when the eccentricity (&egr;) of the input-side fulcrum (19) is low, and therefore a projection (42) fixed to the outer member (38) is detected by proximity sensors (43A, 43B), and the oscillation angular velocity (α') of the outer member (38) is calculated on the basis of the time interval (Tgap) of the detection signals outputted by the proximity sensors (43A, 43B), and the eccentricity (&egr;) of the input-side fulcrum (19) can be estimated on the basis of the oscillation angular velocity (α'). The cumulative value of the detection signals is not used in the process of estimating the eccentricity (&egr;), and therefore estimation errors due to accumulated errors can be avoided, and the accuracy of the estimation of the eccentricity (&egr;) is improved. |
