PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothing treatment apparatus including a lock mechanism having a structure capable of achieving an operation of releasing a lock by the lock mechanism and an operation of rotating a lid toward an open position in a series of operations.SOLUTION: The clothing treatment apparatus includes: a housing on which an opening for loading and unloading clothing is formed; a door body supported by a hinge structure to be freely rotated between a closing position for closing the opening and an opening position for opening the opening; a lock arm for locking the door body at the closing position; and a grip part to be used for rotating the door body between the closing position and the opening position. The hinge structure and the lock arm are disposed in a position substantially along the horizontal line along the diameter of the door body. The grip part is disposed at an upper part of the lock arm. |
