The present invention relates to a connection terminal. The connection terminal (10) of the present invention has a fixing terminal piece (12) mounted on a printed circuit board. A first side wall (14) and a second side wall (14′) are formed to be bent on both sides of the fixing terminal piece (12) in the width direction thereof. A stopper (16) is formed to protrude toward each other on one side of the first side wall (14) and the second side wall (14′). A pickup portion (18) is formed to extend from the second side wall (14′) to the top of the first side wall (14). A deformation preventing portion (20) is provided on one side of the pickup portion (18). A movable terminal piece (26) is connected to one side of the fixing terminal piece (12) with a first elasticity providing portion (28), and extends at a predetermined interval from the fixing terminal piece (12). A contact portion (36) is provided on the movable terminal piece (26), and makes an electrical connection by being in contact with a mating part while the movable terminal piece (26) is elastically deformed. The deformation preventing portion (20) prevents an excessive elastic deformation of the pickup portion (18) or the movable terminal piece (26) by being hung on a parallel portion (30) of the movable terminal piece (26). According to the present invention as describe above, operational reliability of the connection terminal (10) can be maintained for a long time by preventing deformation of the pickup portion (18) and the movable terminal piece (26). |
