<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiator cap which is simply and inexpensively constructed with a smaller number of components to achieve a smaller size while smoothing the opening/closing of a valve.SOLUTION: A radiator cap 20 to be mounted in a water filler 15 of a radiator 10 includes a cap body 21, a pressure plate 25, a gasket 27, and a pressure spring 26. The pressure plate 25 has an upper suction hole 25d, and is arranged between a thin annular part 15c and the cap body 21. The gasket 27 is formed of a flexible rubber having a plurality of lower suction holes 27g, and installed on the lower part of the pressure plate 25. The pressure spring 26 is arranged between the cap body 21 and the pressure plate 25 for pressing the gasket 27 against the thin annular part 15c. On the outer peripheral face of the pressure plate 25, an engaged part 25i is formed, and on the outer periphery of the gasket 27, an engaging part 27f is formed to engage with the engaged part 25i.</p> |
