PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic percussion instrument capable of improving quietness by suppressing raw sound (collision sound directly generated by beating) generated at the time of beating.SOLUTION: A head 30 of a pad body PD is made of a material softer than a frame 40 and having elasticity. The vibration of the head 30 is transmitted to a percussion sensor through a forefront cushioning material layer of cushioning layers, and is converted into electric signals to be output as detection signals. The back surface of the head 30 is formed with linear grooves 34a, 35a in a horizontal direction to make connection parts 34, 35 thin. An intermediate region between the connection part 34 and the connection part 35 is a main region R0 including a main beaten region 38 that is mainly beaten. An upper region R1 over the connection part 34 and a lower region R2 below the connection part 35 are respectively sub regions, without including the main beaten region 38, of the head 30. The main region R0 is connected to the upper region R1 by the connection part 34 and is connected to the lower region R2 by the connection part 35. |
