A method for controlling a hot-drink preparation device, in particular one for household purposes, having a heater for water, having a pump for conveying the water in the preparation device, having a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of the water downstream of the heater, having a control device for controlling the heater and the pump, is developed by the following steps at the end of a brewing operation: a) detecting the temperature of the preparation water, b) heating the water, c) until steam is generated. |
