Disclosed are a method and device for presenting pictures in a page. The method comprises the steps of: dividing a page into a plurality of blocks and registering same; registering pictures required to be presented in a delay mode in each block; downloading unregistered pictures in the page from a browser; judging whether the registered blocks would be presented or not, and if so, downloading the registered pictures required to be presented in a delay mode in the registered blocks from the browser; and presenting the downloaded pictures located in a current window of the browser. Since network resources might be allocated to the downloaded pictures required to be presented by the browser, the network resources can be reasonably used, and a loading velocity of the page can be increased. |
