In the present invention, a concentrated solid content slurry is sprayed through a spray nozzle into a flash vessel, in which the pressure has been set at a value that is lower than the saturation pressure of the concentrated solid content slurry, in a solvent separator while keeping the pressure of the concentrated solid content slurry at a nozzle orifice of the spray nozzle at a pressure equal to or higher than the vapor pressure of a solvent, thereby evaporating and separating the solvent from the concentrated solid content slurry. In this manner, an apparatus for vaporizing a solvent can be simplified while preventing the clogging of a spray nozzle and while reducing an input energy required for the vaporization of the solvent. |
