<p>The invention relates to a method for treating industrial water (1) having a temperature greater than 55°C and less than or equal to 98°C and containing insoluble pollutants, suspended matter, and soluble organic matter, said method comprising a step of microfiltration or ultrafiltration on membranes (2, 3) producing a filtrate and a concentrate, characterised in that said membranes are chosen from the group consisting of membranes immersed in polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and tubular membranes made from polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), and in that it comprises a step (4, 5) of adsorption of the suspended matter contained in said filtrate, said adsorption step being implemented on at least one adsorbent resin chosen from the group consisting of non-ionised cross-linked polymer resins and microporous carbonaceous resins.
