PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve water resistance.SOLUTION: A proximity sensor comprises: a body case 60; a first closing member 20 and second closing members 70, 80 for closing openings 61, 62 of the body case 60; an electronic component located within a housing part 85 formed in the body case 60; and a thermoplastic resin part 122 which is located in the housing part 85 and has hardness (shore D) of 60 and under. The thermoplastic resin part 122 seals the electronic component 50 and has a shape extending from the first closing member 20 side to the second closing members 70, 80 side. An external surface of the thermoplastic resin part 122 includes an opposite part 124 which is opposite to an inner surface 63 of the body case 60 so as to avoid contact with the inner surface 63 and has a shape extending from the first closing member 20 side to the second closing members 70, 80 side. |
