<p>The object of the present invention is to provide a protective arrangement for protection of receiving and/or transmitting devices against High Power Microwaves, wherein the protective device comprises; a conductive layer, a breakdown region and pointy protrusions, wherein the pointy protrusions are arranged in the breakdown region. The present invention is characterized in that at least one seed electron providing means is arranged adjacent to or in the breakdown region. The inventive arrangement may preferably be used in radomes as part of a protective system, preferably in combination with PIN diodes.</p> |
