The present invention relates to an apparatus for detecting foreign materials on an optical film, which comprises a first film member; an adhesive layer coated on the first film member; and a second film member attached to the adhesive layer. The apparatus for detecting foreign materials on an optical film comprises a pair of first rollers where the optical film can pass; a separation/driving member which is separately placed from the optical film in order to separate the second film member from the adhesive layer on the optical film that has passed the first rollers and to drive the second film member by a predetermined distance; a pair of second rollers which can perform lamination on both the second film member, having passed the end of the separation/driving member, and the adhesive layer of the optical film; a lighting unit which is placed between the first rollers and the second rollers in order to radiate light that consecutively passes the first film member and the adhesive layer; and a photographing unit which is placed at a position corresponding to the lighting unit based on the optical film in order to photograph the adhesive layer.
