摘要 A polymeric composition that includes at least one polymer and an effective amount of a nanoparticulate component. The nanoparticulate component is at least one of inorganic functional nanoparticulate compounds and graphene in which the nanoparticulate component is associated with the polymer. The polymer disclosed herein can have electromagnetic activity. The resulting polymeric composition exhibit a measurable electrical conductivity (σ) range of 10−14 to 4.7*106 (S/m) at 20° C. A polymeric precursor that includes at least one component selected from the group that includes isocyanates, polyisocyanates, MDI-terminated prepolymers and an effective amount of a nanoparticulate component. The nanoparticulate component is at least one of inorganic functional nanoparticulate component being at least one of inorganic functional nanoparticulate compounds and graphene that is associated with the prepolymer.
