PADLOCK

A padlock, which is capable of remaining functional in even very dusty, watery or otherwise difficult conditions is disclosed. In addition, there would be reason for forming the protection level of the padlock to be selectable and updatable as needed to be even better. A protective cap is provided with a gasket and possibly gasketed latch elements.

a threaded cover with an external thread for positioning the lock cylinder into the body, which threaded cover comprises a key channel and a recess with an internal thread around the key channel on the outer surface side of the threaded cover, and a cap, which comprises a twisting part and a cylinder projection with an external thread, which external thread is arranged to be inserted into the internal thread of the threaded cover, which cap further comprises a second gasket ring on the cylinder projection side surface of the twisting part.
