The invention relates to a measuring system (10), a measuring device (12), a reaction carrier (14) and a measuring method for measuring a concentration of gaseous and/or aerosol components of a gas mixture. The reaction carrier comprises two flow channels (42) and a coding which is designed to be detected by a position sensor (36) and to allow the independent positioning of the reaction carrier in any relative position associated with the flow channels. At least one flow channel defines a reaction chamber (46) in which a reaction material (48) is provided, said reaction material reacting in an optically detectable manner with at least one component to be measured of the gas mixture. The measuring device comprises a position sensor for detecting a relative position of the reaction carrier and a reaction carrier conveying device (28) for moving the reaction carrier relative to gas connections (22, 24) of a gas-inlet channel (16) and a gas-outlet channel (16, 18), said measuring device being designed to position the reaction carrier in a first relative position during a measuring process in order to establish a connection between the gas connections via a first flow channel for flushing the gas inlet channel, and to position it in a second relative position in order to establish a connection between the gas connections via a second flow channel defining a reaction chamber, for measuring the component of the gas mixture . |
